November 9 by Colleen Hoover

To find the way I rate books there is a blog post about it so check it out if you are interested!

Ok so, before I begin this, I think I should establish that Colleen Hoover is the queen of plot twists we (mostly) don't see coming.

I loved the idea of this book and I have found that with Colleen Hoover you should probably not read the blurb of the book for maximum surprise. For those of you who are newer to book vocabulary, the blurb is the book description usually found at the back of the book. However, if there's reviews there (which is a whole other post) then the blurb can be found on inside cover.

Now for the actual review which I will try to keep spoiler free.

I love Colleens writing style and she creates some swoon worthy moments which I sometimes still think about today. If you love romance with some substance this is an amazing book.

Although some parts were a little predictable, it didn’t ruin the book. I think Colleen wanted us to have an idea of what was going to happen but then she would give us an unexpected twist and I would be totally surprised. Her books are obviously not realistic, however I think she deals with very real problems and struggles in a very elegant way.

I enjoyed the characters and getting the perspective of both of them was pretty cool and I think it really added to the experience. While reading I love coming up with theories and this book had so many of them (and I was mostly wrong of course - thats just how good Colleen is) so if any of you have read this or want to read it please message us on our instagram because I would love to just vent :)
